Takara Leben LEBEN NIGHT GAME

On April 25, 2024, Takara Leben held a sponsored baseball game "Takara Leben LEBEN Night Game" between the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles and the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. The Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles were established in 2005 as the only professional baseball team in the Tohoku region in 50 years. Since then, they have been actively engaged in regional contribution, including hosting games across the prefectures of Tohoku, donating sports facilities to areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and inviting disaster survivors to the stadium.
For this sponsored game, Takara Leben held a special lottery for residents of its Tohoku-area properties, offering the chance to participate in the "Starting Family" and "Bouquet Presentation" experiences. The winners were invited to attend the event. At the venue, the Takara Leben booth featured activities such as a target-throwing game and a lottery wheel. Prizes featured player-autographed Rakuten Eagles baseballs, team merchandise, and exclusive Takara Leben novelties.

SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien

MIRARTH HOLDINGS supported the "SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien" as an official sponsor for FY2024.

SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien is a competition in which high school students explore the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), develop ideas to address social challenges, and present their action-oriented proposals, all with the aim of thinking about and acting for a sustainable future of the planet. The initiative began in 2019 in the Hokkaido and Kansai regions, and since then, both the number of participating areas and students has continued to grow each year. In FY2024, high school students from approximately 5,500 schools across 23 areas covering 40 prefectures took part in the event.

To promote and raise awareness of the award-winning actions, the "2030 Inquiry Newspaper" was published, featuring action ideas from the top prize and excellence award teams in each regional competition. In August 2024, a national exchange event brought together 19 grand prize teams from across the country. Following the event, eight teams were selected to participate in the "SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien Future Session." As part of the corporate award program, MIRARTH HOLDINGS presented the MIRARTH Award to "Team Sarabanjī!" from Okinawa Prefectural Chatan High School and Gushikawa High School for their action plan, "High School Students as MCs! Shōwa-Retro Shimakutuba Singing Café."

Ehime SDGs Koshien

Takara Leben provided special sponsorship for the "Takara Leben Presents Ehime SDGs Koshien 2024 – High School Student Practical Project," a competition in Ehime Prefecture where high school students in Ehime explore the SDGs.

The competition was created as a hands-on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) initiative aimed at helping students strengthen communication skills and develop the mindset to respect diverse values and environments through engagement with peers and the local community. It was jointly planned with NPO RES in 2022 as part of MIRARTH Holdings Group's 50th anniversary project.

At the 2024 competition, a total of 180 students from 29 teams representing 13 schools across Ehime Prefecture took part. In August, 60 students from 12 teams that had passed the preliminary video screening gathered for an exchange event and the final round. During the exchange event, Takara Leben introduced its initiatives toward achieving the SDGs, and students from across the prefecture engaged with university student volunteers through an SDGs-themed card game. In the final round, each team gave a 10-minute presentation. The team with the highest overall score was selected as the Grand Prix winner and was awarded a prize. Takara Leben resonated with the idea of preserving the memory of a building by converting a school building—considered a "treasure of the local community"—into 3D data and maintaining it within a virtual space, an idea inspired by the possibilities of the metaverse. Recognizing both the creativity and proactive spirit the company presented the Takara Leben Award.

With the aim of fostering "creators of a sustainable society" envisioned in the new Course of Study, we will continue to create opportunities for young people, who will lead the next generation, to explore local issues related to the achievement of the SDGs, helping them develop the ability to identify challenges and take action to solve them.
